OUR STORY AND BEGINNINGS

WELCOME TO MY WORLD OF CLIMBING AND MOUNTAINEERING!

With over two decades of professional and personal climbing experience, I've been fortunate to pursue this passion across every continent, from deserts to the towering peaks of the Himalayas, the vast expanses of Antarctica, and across the UK.

I am proud to hold the Winter Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor Award, the highest qualification in the UK. This certification allows me to guide and instruct year-round, enabling me to share my expertise across the varied climbing and mountaineering opportunities the UK offers.

Throughout my career, I have worked with a diverse range of clients, including military groups in the Middle East and the UK, corporate teams, disadvantaged young people, families, school groups, and individuals seeking to push their limits in high-altitude environments or on technical objectives in the UK, such as the Cuillin Ridge.

My professional year is divided between guiding on the Isle of Skye in spring and autumn, instructing in the Peak District during summer, working for a few months in Antarctica, and guiding in the Scottish Highlands during winter. In between, I carve out time for personal climbing and skiing adventures in the Alps or other destinations.

As a member of the Association of Mountaineering Instructors, I uphold the highest standards of professionalism, continually engaging in mandatory professional development to remain at the forefront of industry best practices.

In addition to my mountaineering qualifications, I am a qualified geography teacher with degrees in Zoology and Sport/Outdoor Education.
